  2. You need 3 tbsp of loose green tea or 5 teabags.
  3. It's 1 bunch of mint leaves.
  4. It's 100 grams of sugar + extra to taste.

  1. Boil the water in either a kettle or a saucepan.
  2. Turn off the heat, add the tea, cover and let steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the mint leaves and continue steeping for a further 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the sugar until dissolved then strain into a jug.
  5. Serve hot with a sprig of mint or serve chilled over ice.
  6. The sugar can be substituted for 60mls of agave nectar + to taste.
